Born and raised in the Midwest, Andrew Gelwicks is a New York City and Los Angeles-based celebrity fashion stylist.
Andrew began his career in the fashion department at GQ magazine, and later worked in celebrity booking at Teen Vogue. Andrew’s clients benefit form his extensive experiences in public relations, marketing, and celebrity relations at Hearst Magazines, Michael Kors and Starworks Group. He understands the nuanced art of creating fashion star power.
Andrew is highly respected for his ability to create the perfect red carpet moment, as well as effective street-style and press looks. His clientele involves a mix of young Hollywood elite and seasoned stars. His extensive portfolio includes working with Delilah Belle Hamlin, Tommy Dorfman, Catherine O’Hara, Nicole Scherzinger, Dominique Jackson, Lisa Rinna, Ryan Jamaal Swain, Hannah Murray, Megan Boone, Josie Canseco, Dascha Polanco and Lela Loren, among many others.
In addition to his career in celebrity styling, his writing has been published in Harper’s Bazaar, The Hollywood Reporter, Out, Teen Vogue and The Huffington Post. His debut book, The Queer Advantage, will be published by Hachette Books in Fall 2020.
